The Internal Quality Assurance Cell, of Ponda Education Society’s Rajaram and Tarabai Bandekar College of pharmacy. Farmagudi-Ponda Goa organized a webinar for B. Pharm. students of Semester IV, Semester VI and faculty members on the theme “Understanding of Practice School” on 19th June 2021 using google meet platform. The aim of the webinar was to enlighten the students and faculty members about the concept of Practice school, its scope and implementation.
Dr. K. Vijay Bhaskar, Associate Professor, Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Manipal College of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Manipal and Dr. Girish Hampannavar, Assistant Professor Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry, K L E. College of Pharmacy Hubli, were the resource person for the webinar.
Dr. Suwarna Bobde, Assistant Professor, Department of Pharmaceutics, was the coordinator and moderator for the webinar.
The welcome address for the webinar was given by Dr. S. N. Mamle Desai, Principal of Ponda Education Society’s Rajaram and Tarabai Bandekar College of pharmacy.
The first session of the webinar was from 10.00 am to 11.00 am by Dr. K. Vijay Bhaskar who enlighted the all the participants on the Importance of Practice School to Pharmacy Graduates while Dr. Girish Hampanavar gave an overview of the various Practice School Models for the second session from 11.am -12.00noon.
The total number of participants for the webinar were 148. The participant made the question-and-answer session lively.
Mr. Sandesh Somnache, Assistant Professor, Department of Pharmaceutics and Ms. Sarika S. S. Kerkar, I.T. officer were the co-cordinators for the webinar.
The webinar ended with vote of thanks proposed by Ms. Sarika S. S. Kerkar.
